Reports and complaints about judges usually go nowhere unless you are "somebody." It is an option to see the thing through to the end and then appeal, if you feel the bias affected the outcome, based on the existence of judicial bias. There is case law on judicial bias that you might want to read

   

1- Superior Courts judges to be reported to the Canadian Judicial Council.

2- Provincial judges (divisional, small claim courts..) to the Ontario Judicial Council-3.

Law society does not deal with judges, it deals only with lawyers, if you are looking for justice in Ontario you must be dreaming, the law society is there to protect the strong lawyers who serve the crown and the big corporations.

You can also write to the Chef justice at the court about the judge in question. The major issue in Ontario is the total lack of judicial independence, something that I am fighting right now.

Where a judge is impartial, but appears not to be, recusal is necessary.
So you have a few options. You can ask your lawyer to bring a motion for recusal because you feel the Judge is biased. 
Or you can ride it out because the case management Judge will not be the trial Judge. 
The fact that your lawyer is a legal aid lawyer is irrelevant, he works for you and takes your direction.

   

Report biased judges to the bar assosiation. Its the only body that has jurisdiction over judges and lawyers. The reason courts get away with the stuff they do is because nobody reports it to the right people.
