I took my daughter (at age 3) to the doctor and specialist 7 times while they tested her to determine if there was a medical cause for unexplained rectal bleeding (no medical cause found). I reported her statements to CPS that her father was molesting her. I took her to the play therapist once a week for several months. The therapist reported consistent statements of abuse. My daughter confirmed the abuse, in private, to the caseworker. When I finally saw the case file, CPS had written that they were stalling on legal action "to see if the mother will be protective." They understood that my daughter was being abused and they did nothing about it on purpose so they could position themselves to blame me either way. If I withheld my daughter from her father's visitation, then I could be accused of false reporting to deny his parental visitation. If I let her go for the visitation, despite everything I did to report it, I could be blamed for being "not protective." Manipulate and abuse. That's all they do.
