I need some advice with regard to my son or someone to steer me in the right direction because emotionally my son is beaten down and doesn't know which way to turn. My son has two daughters, ages 3 and 9 years old. My son's ex has hounded him to death with regard to money Hes always paid his child support but when they had the second child my son went to the hospital to see her and stated he would pay child support because he is far from a dead-beat Dad but her response to this was "She is not yours" and she even told their 9 year old daughter that her sister didn't have a father.

Well after the 2nd child was a year old she decided that now the child is his and went for back pay. He was paying child support for his other daughter all along. We paid $35 000. in lawyers fees but when it went to court the lawyer wanted another 5,000 which I didn't have to give him so being at his wits end told the mother to go to court and he would sign the papers.

The court awarded the back pay, never order a DNA test seeing he was only with her once and ordered he pay half all curricular activities, half daycare etc. At present he clears $600. out of his cheque every two weeks, she constantly calling and texting wanting more money and uses the children as leverage, for example he was suppose to have 2 girls this week and she wouldn't allow him to have his youngest and she also told him that if he didn't pay half the school fees, daycare etc that she would withhold his other daughter until he gave it to her. Psychologically she has him so broken.

I don't know how he is suppose to live on $600. every two weeks in Alberta and to top that off he received a letter from MEP stating they would be taking more money out of his cheque.

The court ordered he get the girls every second weekend and 1 week in July and 1 week in August, he never gets them every second weekend he gets them when she feels like it and like I said she wouldn't allow him to have his youngest at all. I have gone to child services because of issues I felt was emotional abuse such as when he picked up his daughter one day his daughter was running towards him saying Daddy Daddy and the grandmother screams at the child and says "That's not your father his name is and called my son by his first name.

I could tell you so much more, its been unreal. I brought in my concerns to child services and after two weeks they said that there wasn't enough evidence to warrant an investigation but to continue documenting. One time his ex came to the house screaming and beating on him with one arm and holding the oldest child in the other and the child starting crying uncontrollably and telling her mom please don't hurt my Daddy.

I have also brought what I brought to child services to a child psychologist in the province where I preside and he told me it was emotional abuse and a little more. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP US OR GIVE US SOME DIRECTION....my son can't afford a lawyer and emotionally he is so broken by all of this, to the point hes having panic attacks. All he wants to do is be with his children and be their Dad. PLEASE PLEASE HELP
