What is the law regarding cas interviewing minors shes 14...alone?
click the description for full details there is no court order for this -- No , I would not There is no court order For a child ove...
there is no court order for this -- No , I would not There is no court order For a child over 14 they need your daughters consent....can't force a 14 to talk if they don't want to
The courts can't even force her to speak...she's Canadian she has freedom of choice & freedom of speech.... or not speak....its every Canadians Chartered right....they couldn't even force my children to speak to them and they 6 and 8...they talked to them once and when they attempted consent to talk to them at school I refused as it was my children that said it right to them "no" the idea of it was embarrasing further stating there own refusal to speak to them anymore as a matter of fact my son yelled at her telling her to leave our family alone....CAS respected it and this was the last time they made any effort....however caution be given if without them speaking to your children if they have enough against you without then they can still make a move towards court involvement and apprehension...its just a little more complicated for CAS with the older 1's as "usually" there say is required to make such a move
court order or not child does not have to speak
Cas does not work like that, they would go to child them selves, not go ask parent in the first place --
Ahhh yes but the school however is obligated and responsible for those that speak to your child and if it be found out that that worker isn't a registered worker than the schools liable to be sued....additionally when your child starts school the beginning of the year the schools sends all kinds of reg. paperwork home for signing and every yr I get it theres 1 spot that makes reference to the sharing of info to a 3rd party without generalizing (this is where they'd fit) and every year I put a line through it failing to consent to that specific area....its great to have family that works for the school board Also Verne I believe has a form on the Court watch site that can be submitted into the school preventing CAS from going there:) The only time you cannot refuse a worker is with a supervisor who is conducting an investigation into drug involvement and they can do that at the home. Our school system is not a shopping ground for them. Hope you don't mind Verne that I pulled this out but seems necessary, this is something we give to area schools as well you can to....

Otherwise unless the school is the 1 that calls with concern which they are obligated to contact and inform a parent they're pretty much kept out of it.
Alison Spa 1) this form Tammy linked above does not interfere with " duty to report" this is voluntary for school to sign. Not all schools understand this and believe CAS 2) You can refuse any worker supervised or not at this point because there's No Court Order
Tammy Everest: Again....." Otherwise unless the school is the 1 that calls with concern which they are obligated to contact and inform a parent they're pretty much kept out of it."......& Actually if you refuse a supervisor who is conducting an investigation involving drugs....that refusal for that type of investigation conducted by a supervisor is all the grounds they need to support a court ordered apprehension....That advice your giving to refuse completely without identifying the grounds for there investigation is going to COST PEOPLE THEIR CHILDREN! Every Experienced advocate knows you do not take a position of a lawyer....ITS IN THE ADVOCATE ACT....Advocates give guidance & assistance with oversight, & options.... its up to the person involved in the matter to decide there route. Things I say may appear as "advice" however is protected with "I personally think or if it were me "protecting myself" legally because I know that conducting the job of a lawyer is classified a misrepresentation and 1 can be charged....I'm always open for correction from advocates I know and trust but you however are starting to leave me a little concerned. When your in this position on this site you are representing as an advocate for CCW...which are identified on the main site which I've been registered with for almost 5 years its existance is to assist those who need assistance to connect with an "identified" advocate....not to mention we usually uphold our credibilty with our actual names so it can be deciphered whether its an advocate or an unsuspecting worker using false name...I have never in 5 yrs had to speak up like this to anyone. As even new 1's are usually open to learn new things not stand by there own ignorance.
Oh and to further support my own credibility I have no idea the amount of families I've assisted just involved with CAS over the years but seen many of them to file closure including my own as well out of 14 court proceedings, I've seen through 12 of them to court closure and CAS ordered out. I have not failed a family yet because I remain cautious and self-diciplined recognizing these are peoples children
This I will give as Advocate advice .....to anyone who needs an advocates assistance there are legit advocates attached to this site that aren't registered with CCW however unless you can be sure they are who they are... DON"T GO THERE your trusting nameless individuals, and must be cautious with how much you share openly as there are workers on here its not possible to identify them as they join the group to prevent as some people do come forward for help anonymously & under false name...which is ok, however it is an advantaged open door so be cautious.

Most workers are not registered and you can refuse any Cas to speak to your child - schools do have duty to report and 100% they should contact parent regarding this and not allow CAS to speak to child until parent attends school

Papa Inbc: Kids have rights of which they are not aware of, and social workers and school officials have zero interest informing kids of this.
What's needed for our kids is similar to what airlines have, "black box" recorders that retain a record of location, movement, audio and video. A wristwatch and/or neckless device with a panic button, for example.
It is the teachers, social workers, even the police, and even other bully kids that are this decade's new bogeymen, disguised as people who spout off that they have children's best interest at heart, when it is really their self interest and their money-focussed handlers.
We need to protect and defend our kids from these people.
