Looking for support in my court room March 5th in Orangev...

Hi I am in a group home and they took my baby girl away from me.. my name is ________ and i am under ______ child and family services in Orangeville.. i need help. they took everything from me, hurt me, made me look like a terrible irresponsible mom and i cant do anything!!

Hi I am in a group home and they took my baby girl away from me.. my name is ________ and i am under ______ child and family services in Orangeville.. i need help. they took everything from me, hurt me, made me look like a terrible irresponsible mom and i cant do anything!!
i was left 15 and pregnant on the street all day with nobody and nothing because of Children's Aid Society neglect and abuse. tomorrow i have court for my baby girl who was born 3 days after my 16th birthday at the end of august. they didn't even have a warrant coming to the hospital, they said they didn't need one.

Infant being taken away from hospital by Children's Aid Society demonstrated HOW corrupt the Children's Aid Society and Family Law System. the stupid logic behind this is :
Children's Aid Society worker is much more powerful than Doctor and Nurse in the hospital to conclude Mom's incapability of taking good care of baby in the hospital.
Doctor and Nurse in the hospital were humiliated by Children's Aid Society. 
Doctor and Nurse stand up to fight for your dignity which was taken away by Children's Aid Society at the time of infant being taken away from your professional care.
Somebody should stand up, and organize protest, family are suffering, ACTION is important 


I wish I had good news but with you being in a group home you are classified as a crown ward and they have to much power over you and your child it is very injust I fail to understand how you were not given the right to prove your abilitys as a mother and hope that you request a good lawyer also seek an advocate for yourself the ministry is very corrupt and only use you as a paycheck

This is so heart breaking. Is there any family home you can go to where they are willing to take you in and then you can petition to have your baby girl back??

This should be used against Children's Aid Society. Right now Children's Aid Society is this child's "Parent" legally so shouldn't they be looking out for the best interest of both mom and baby? They must know there doing a horrible job of raising children if there best excuse for stealing these girls baby's is that they are or were in Children's Aid Society them selfs. They should be teaching these girls to parent and support them every step of they way, after all they are the "experts" arnt they (lol). We as parents would do this for our own children that Children's Aid Society try's to say we arnt good enough to raise so Children's Aid Society where is your ability to parent?

It sounds confusing, if mom is in a known place of safety, it should stand to reason leaving baby with mom makes the best sense. Therefore, both these children's rights, parenting and right to be cared for by mom in a place of safety are being violated. Abuse and neglect as reasons cannot possibly be used while in care.

Children's Aid Society is not a safe place for any one 

When are people going to get it, how does Children's Aid Society make their money. By legally kidnapping children from their parents and putting them into the system, with no regard to where or what circumstances they put those children in. How many children will die, be sexually or physically assaulted before people wake up. Or is it the old cliche it never happened to me so I don't care. Or why would they do that, you had to have done something. In many Children's Aid Societyes they have taken a perfectly innocent person and treated them as a criminal. But tell me how many of these parents that have lost their children to the Children's Aid Society actually come up on criminal charges for abuse of any kind. Does anyone really know how many lives the Children's Aid Society have destroyed, and I am not talking about just the children what about the parents, grandparents etc.

Not confusing at all she is dealing with Children's Aid Society BS like anyone who deals with Children's Aid Society -- but she is in Children's Aid Society care ( no care)

What exactly is their role, as of the Children's Aid Societye of Samantha Martin the disabled 13 year old that died in the care of Alberta Children's Aid Society workers out of Edmonton. Her parents gave her up because the couldn't afford the medications needed for her, Children's Aid Society convinced them it would be better to place the child in their care. Cause of the abuse afflicted on this little girl, and not getting the medications she needed, her parents fought to get her back, only to have her die a short time later of a heart attack, caused by abuse. Is that their role could you possibly be that daft? Look it up SAMANTHA MARTIN and wake up.

And comments like that right now are not what Ivy needs, I know I was Ivy in 1988 and she will blame herself, even know it is not her fault, by the time the Children's Aid Society was done with me I didn't trust anyone.

Children's Aid Society should be held criminally responsible for every child in their care who does not have the resources required to raise their own children. Law suits need to be laid against these fucktards.

I'm not sure how prevalent this is, but the here in BC outright returns and downgrades to supervision order is exceptionally rare.

Chris Carter according to a 2000 Supreme Court of Canada decision, they don't need a warrant to apprehend children even in non-emergency situations:

1. you need intense assistance. there in ______ can you connect with a local top quality registered social worker/advocate?

find one who has worked in this type of situation previously and successfully assisted in re-uniting a young mom like yourself and her baby.

don't tell anyone (esp. the CA$) anything about yourself which they can later use against you in court. everything you say to any of the workers involved (but not your lawyer) can be used against you in court.

so if you say: "i tried acid once but didn't like it and have never done any drug since then." they won't talk about how you don't use drugs...in court they'll only focus on: "she did acid your Honour."

don't give them anything to use against you.

2. get a certificate from legal aid Ontario (they'll be at the courthouse) and start looking around for a good lawyer. don't just take the first one that comes along. ask questions like: how will you represent me? strategies and tactics? what's your success rate? etc...

4. stablize your living situation. tell OW what's going on and seek their assistance (same thing re: don't tell them anything negative about yourself). don't let the CA$ manipulate you into becoming angry (they'll use that against you in court). don't miss any of your supervised access visits. try to improve yourself in any way that you can during this period of Child and Family Services Act litigation and court appearances (you'll have court appearances once/30 days).

5. in your situation your emotions are going to be difficult to manage. can you reach out to your family for some support?

6. read parenting and law books from the public library.
