I dont know why however I do know that anxieties and depression can very often be the result of being on the recieving end of an abusive (phsychologically or physical). Getting away from such an abuser is the best start to recovery, unfortunately the courts often give such abusers control over you and as such make you a further victim of abuse.

This is part of the dynamic that leads to increased violence, instability, and suicides. Yet no matter how much this is researched and exposed judges will openly bash these findings in court and victimize you and your children under the guise that giving a mother (in this case) what she wants is best for the children.
