I've been completely alienated for almost 4 years now and was fighting the courts for 3 prior to that To be honest I knew nothing about PA or the family law system being so twisted. When my legal alienation took place, it actually took me 3 years of trying to fight the system and conform with their desires to actually learn that I wasn't the one with the problem.
My children and I were just the ones that were trying to cope and live with the problems that my AP, family court and myself were enabling.
Here I am 7 years later almost 500 miles away from them with a little bit of knowledge and the support of the network that we have; trying desperately to get back into court. Some read 7 years and might not understand but dealing with the depression and pts from the constant torment and guilt, has been an issue on its own. My reason for sharing this is because were all parents still and if youre a good enough parent to be here reading this and still fighting PA or the courts, then youre being a parent and youre probably being the best parent that you can be given your/our circumstances.
With that said... YOU MUST BRING EFFORT TO THE TABLE EVERYDAY AND NEVER QUIT. I promise you that no matter the degree of alienation, your children still need to AT LEAST know that you are fighting for them and the future.
CHIVE ON and STAY SHINING!
